Management Consultant, Interior Design and Fitwel Ambassador
Jordyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Georgia Southern University, a CIDA accredited program, and began her career in residential design. In 2015, she shifted to commercial office design, when she became an Interior Planning Specialist for the Tennessee Department of General Services (DGS). As an Interior Planning Specialist, Jordyn served as a project manager designing office space for state agencies whose mission provides services directly to the citizens of Tennessee. Jordyn first worked on the Alternative Workplace Solutions (AWS) initiative with Department of Economic and Community Development. She continued her work on AWS projects statewide including Department of Children’s Services (DCS) and Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD).
While at the State, Jordyn was selected for the General Services GREATNESS Award and the prestigious Governor’s Excellence in Service Award for exemplifying core values of attention to detail, sense of urgency, and desire to help agencies work through any issues.
At Baskin Strategies, Jordyn brings dual insight of workspace efficiencies and functionality, and employee wellbeing to achieve improved employee productivity.
She has led and assisted projects focused on employee work functions, determined work flexibility, and conducted workspace analysis and utilization, resulting in a reduction of office space needs, a more active design approach and increased workforce flexibility.
As a former collegiate student athlete and Interior Design major she continues to pursue her passion for health and wellbeing. To that end, in 2017, Jordyn became a certified Fitwel Ambassador to promote strategies and design to support a healthier building for the individual.
