Senior Management Consultant
Heather received her Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University and went
on to obtain her teaching credential and complete business, auditing, finance and
accounting courses. Her education and work experience led her to pursue a career
in auditing and operations.
Prior to her time at Baskin Strategies, Heather spent ten years working as an
auditor for the California State Government and seven years with the Tennessee
State Government at the Department of Commerce and Insurance. As the
Operations Director for the Fiscal Section, she worked in many capacities including
but not limited to; compliance auditing, process analysis and improvement, real
estate reduction and layout and performance plans with an emphasis on metric
driven goals and output in order to improve overall performance. Her passion for
operations and process improvement led to successful implementation of
Alternative Workplace Solutions for her many teams as well as more efficient
process time and metric improvement.
Her roles in auditing and operations for the Tennessee State Government led her to
pursue a career as a Senior Management Consultant to implement Leading
Workplace Solutions that could transform organizations beyond just state agencies
both culturally and physically. Heather's experience with policy drafting, training
materials, technology implementation, process improvement, departmental
communications, and move coordination offers a unique end-to-end project
experience to Baskin Strategies.
Currently, Heather acts as the primary project lead for the implementation of
Leading Work Solutions in multiple businesses and organizations in the Southeast.
Her work surrounding the analysis of employee work functions and workspace
utilization has resulted in real estate optimization, a more flexible workforce, and
process improvements. Heather’s drive to understand the unique aspects of each
organization has resulted in tailored solutions that keep both the overall
organizational goals and the employees in mind.
